Why Dollaride

A Steadier Demand Channel for NYC Fleets

Running a fleet in NYC means unpredictable demand, complex onboarding, and idle capacity you can’t monetize. Most operators spend months chasing trips — through brokers, agencies, and contracts they can’t see into.

One Partnership, One Integration

Dollaride sits between brokers and operators. We hold the contracts, allocate the trips, and provide the EVaaS stack — vehicles, charging, financing, and dispatch tech — when you need it. One partnership, one integration, one growth channel.

FAQ

Quick Answers

Do I need to own electric vehicles to work with Dollaride?

Not on day one — but electrification is the goal. Dollaride exists to empower NYC fleet operators through clean transportation, and our Clean Transit Access Program (CTAP) is built to make the transition affordable: vehicles, charging, parking, and financing bundled into one package. If you’re operating a gas or hybrid fleet today, we’ll meet you where you are and map a path to electrify on a timeline that works for your business.

What types of electric vehicles are available?
Our current EV selection includes: Up to 12 passenger Non-ADA vehicles AND up to 9 passenger ADA compliant vehicles.
What service types do you cover?

Today we work with commuter van, paratransit / Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT), and contract shuttle operators in NYC.

Do I need to own my vehicles?

No. Operators can lease through Dollaride’s CTAP program. CTAP participation gives access to vehicles, charging infrastructure, and financing as a bundled package.

What is CTAP?

The Clean Transit Access Program (CTAP) is Dollaride’s NYSERDA-funded program that bundles electric vehicles, charging, parking, and financing into one package — making fleet electrification affordable for NYC operators. CTAP is the engine of how we help fleets transition to clean transportation. Learn more at dollaride.com/ctap.

How long does onboarding take?

Most operators move from form submission to first trip within 60–90 days, depending on licensing status, vehicle availability, and broker contract activation timing.
